Is anxiety interfering with your life?

It’s feels like you can never escape, it impacts almost everything you do and it is so difficult to control

Anxiety is your body’s normal response to stress. It is a healthy and normal reaction to new and challenging situations. But anxiety disorders are different. They can have a serious impact on your ability to work, study and participate in other activities.

Some ways to manage anxiety disorders include learning about anxiety, mindfulness, relaxation techniques, correct breathing techniques, dietary adjustments, exercise, learning to be assertive, building self-esteem, cognitive therapy, exposure therapy, structured problem solving, medication and support groups.

Here’s what we’ll do together

Anxiety Therapy can help…

It may feel impossible and overwhelming right now. A low level of panic and underlying sense of dread make day-to-day activities challenging and unenjoyable. Uncontrollable thoughts and panic attacks can interfere with your daily functioning and your sleep patterns.

It doesn’t have to be like this. Through therapy and increasing your understanding of anxiety and teaching you coping strategies you can regain control of your life.

I want you to know:

Anxiety doesn’t have to control you, you can control your anxiety.

What we’ll work on together

Imagine a life where…

  • You understand stubborn thoughts and feelings in your body and how to control them. Through psychodynamic counseling and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) you can get there.

  • You are able to calm yourself down when anxious and stay present in the moment instead of worrying. CBT and Mindfulness Therapy can help.

  • You have the confidence and tools to tackle whatever life throws at you.

  • Your anxiety is no longer in control of you.
